The Talk With The Unicorn

This strange story may seem an illusion or dream,
But I hope you won't laugh at my words;
Well, I saw her that night in the splendour of light
On the crossing of mountain roads.

And I questioned her: "You're not seen anymore,
And we yearn after days that had been,
Where is now your home? Are you truly all gone
Having left to us nothing but dream?"

"Wizard"- said she - "You must not look back on the past,
If you want not to lose our sight,
Neither time nor place sets apart our ways,
But ambitions that caught humankind.

Oh, magician, you see what has happened to be
The second nature of the poor human race -
They are speaking of love, but another they have
At their heart when they call us these days.

But you should not regret -people find us yet,
When they're seeking for no profit's sake,
We are often nor far from the place where they are,
They will see us whose eyes are awake."
