Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John.
The bed be blest that I lie on.
Four angels to my bed,
Four angels round my head,
One to watch, and one to pray,
And two to hear my soul away.

A Candle in the Dark
When we
are born, we receive one of the greatest gifts of life--a guardian angel. Through the
years, your angel stays constant and faithful, offering just the right amount of support
as we go through the passages of life. When a baby is born..he or she receives a guardian
angel who will guide forever. At this stage, the baby is too young to pray for itself so
the angel proceeds without being asked. This angel has an unconditional love for the
infant and is in it's presence at all times. A baby's angel is the one who helps the baby
with her first steps. Her guardian angel gives the child a boost of confidence and keeps
her company through the night, calming her fears and bringing her happy dreams.
As the
baby grows, her guardian angel becomes her constant companion and playmate. Did you ever
wonder why so many children have an imaginary friend? Perhaps this is a part of a
deepening relationship with their guardian angels, whose presence is felt or even seen or
heard, only by the trusting child. The angel delights in the child's progress,
exploration, and budding sense of self. The angel also feels the child's frustrations and
gives extra support when he faces the challenges to his self esteem. How important
it is for the child to feel comfortable about talking with this lifelong friend....His
guardian angel.
-Anon.
We
cannot part with our friends; we cannot let our angels go.
